Our client, a global custodian is recruiting a Fund Administration Account Manager to join a fast paced Funds Administration team servicing Asset Owners and Asset Managers in Melbourne CBD.

The successful candidate for the position of Fund Administration Account Manager will be responsible for the overall deliverables to the client and tasks will include:

  • Overall responsibility to ensure client output and expectations are delivered within agreed timelines
  • Act as point of escalation on complex queries
  • Generate standardised and regulator reports to the client
  • Considering operational risk and compliance contingencies
  • Team Management, guidance and mentoring
  • Proactive and cross departmental contact across the business
  • Continuous improvement and developing new processes

For the position of Fund Administration Account Manager the successful candidate requires the following skills:

  • Strong experience in areas of unit pricing, custody and fund accounting
  • Relevant Accounting degree or equivalent
  • CA/CPA qualification or work experience as an equivalent
  • Strong management experience
  • Clear and concise communicator, ability to interpret and problem solve complex requirements
  • Passion to grow and mature in the industry, demonstrating a professional attitude
  • Strong team player and adaptability to pick up new tasks, systems and processes
