The Client
Our client is a very successful $25M business with some unique food products in the retail market.
They have a number of sites across Australia and NZ and are currently going through a strategic growth plan here in Melbourne.

The Role
An opportunity not to be missed has arisen for an experienced General Manager to deliver growth within my clients successful food business.
You will be expected to operate on a number of distinct levels and ultimately manage the business in the best interests of its shareholders.
Leading the management team, this will be an amazing opportunity to drive the growth of one of Australia’s most innovative businesses.
Lead the Marketing team in the development of programmes and communication initiatives that promote the business and its capabilities to the target markets
Manage the flow of funds through the business and to act as the primary signatory to the company's lines of credit and finance
Evaluate, where necessary, alternative and additional means of finance for special projects
Present financial and operating data to the board
Agree targets and sales development objectives for the sales team that meet the strategic development goals set out in the plan
Review and propose medium to long term strategies for the company

The Person
Previous experience in a senior management position
Proven leader with entrepreneurial spirit
Affinity with the Food & Beverage Industry
Commitment to achieve results
Demonstrable experience in coordinating diverse areas of management
Finance and governance knowledge
Ability to implement and drive a sales and marketing campaigns
Good reporting and budgetary skills
Ability to think out of the box
You will be someone with experience within the food and beverages sector and someone who has a proven track record in marketing and finance to achieve substantial growth.
