About the role: The Senior Health, Safety & Facilities Officer position is responsible for ensuring the implementation of Health and safety policy and procedures and provide advice, training, monitoring and auditing of the HS management system to ensure the organisation meets its HS legislative compliance obligations. You will be required to make decisions and work independently to achieve the H&S goals of the company.


The position also supports the administration of facilities support services by the external clients to the organisation including furniture and fittings, minor new works and facilities maintenance.


Experience and Skills



  • Strong Heath and Safety experience

  • Working knowledge of facilities an advantage

  • Experience Managing compliance of Rehab and injury management

  • Support the administration and maintenance of the facilities

  • Key point of contact for all internal stakeholders for H&S matters

  • Leading policy implementation and compliance

  • Monitor and report hazards and incidents

  • Experience conducting risk assessments, work safety procedures and training and inductions

  • Support and assist rehabilitation co-ordination and injury management

  • Provide a high level of advice to internal stakeholders on WHS matters
