About the company

A major resources entity; formed in 1999 after a merger. Employing over 900 staff globally. FIFO (8 on / 6 off) located in South Australia working in and around mine operations and maintenance.

About the role

This role is an integral part of the BAU operation and would support the organisation to ensure compliance to WHS legislation as well as ensuring company policies and procedures are achieved. Training, coaching and offering consulting in the HSE area would be the focus. This position exists due to mine expansion and a commitment to Capital Works Projects.

Duties

  • Training – WHS and company policy and procedure
  • Compliance – Health, Safety and Environment
  • Incident Management and reporting

Skill and experience

Are you passionate about offering advice and ensuring compliance is achieved?

  • Relevant Degree and WHS Qualification
  • 3+ years experience working in heavy industry, mining or construction
  • Current Class C Drivers License and must be able to drive a manual 4WD
  • All candidates will undergo psychometric assessment, detailed references and pre-employment medical
