My client is looking for a HR Advisor to provide administrative and coordination support to the Manager, across all facets of HR (including recruitment, performance management, reward and recognition, WH&S and compliance).

Key responsibilities

  • Assist recruitment manager with recruitment including job specification, advertising, screening applications, conducting interviews, conducting reference checks, preparing contracts of employment, sending new starter employment packs.
  • Manage all HR administration activities (including creating and maintaining personnel files, staff notifications, conducting exit interviews, ad hoc filing and scanning as required).
  • Assist with Payroll Administrator for fortnightly payroll.
  • Assist onboarding / induction process as required.
  • Rollout of the annual Performance Management process.
  • Assist in the annual remuneration review process and recognition program.
  • Develop, updating and create policies and procedures as required.
  • Assist with ad-hoc HR projects as required including implementing new HRIS and culture project
  • Commit to continued development and learning, with a self-directed attitude to finding information and remaining current on legislative changes/updates, communicating widely as required.

About you

  • At least 2 years experience as a HR Generalist
  • Working understanding of relevant employment legislation and ability to ensure compliance.
  • Well developed communication/interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a consultative manner
  • Experience processing payroll for a medium sized organisation.
  • Self-confidence and high levels of initiative.
