Our client, a well known State Government Department is seeking an experienced HR Business Support Officer to start on the 3rd of July up until Friday the 8th of September 2017. This role will be located full time at Urrbrae with limited parking available on site.

About the role:

The HR Business Support Officer will be part of the People and Culture Branch within the Corporate Services Division and will be responsible for delivering high quality, accurate and confidential HR support and administrative services to the HR Consulting Unit. The role accurately prepares and reviews employment contracts, coordinates and undertakes efficient and timely recruitment and selection support and undertakes a range of payroll support services.

The HR Business Support Officer also maintains and establishes hard copy and electronic records and delivers accurate and appropriate advice on human resource records management, vacancy preparation and contract administration procedures and practices.

  • Minute taking
  • Confidential HR support and administrative services
  • Transactional HR processes and payroll support services
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders

Essential requirements:

  • Previous experience using Jobs SA (for advertising)
  • Objective (records management system)
  • CHRIS 21 (payroll software)
  • Hold a current National Police Clearance
