As the HR Manager you will lead the Human Resources function for this business based on the North Shore. You will report directly into the CEO and your priority will be to increase the brand and foundations of HR across the business, as well as looking after payroll and ensuring payments are recorded accurately.

In this role your priorities will include;

  • Creating and implementing a best practice HR model across all business units in line with the broader business strategy
  • Take the lead on all Employee relations matters including building capability in managers, creating and implementing department frameworks, performance management models and annual employee reviews
  • Build and maintain effective, influential working relationships, understand business strategy and key priorities, acting as a leader on all people and culture related matters

To be successful in this role you will have;

  • Proven experience leading a HR function within a small or medium sized business with experience implementing processes and systems from scratch.
  • You will have the ability to work operationally to implement the HR foundations as well as implementing long term HR strategies.
  • Ability to influence, negotiate and build strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Strong generalist HR knowledge with experience in Employee Relations, Learning and Development, and Recruitment
  • Resilience and the ability to jump in and assist with a variety of tasks
