Reporting to the HR Manager your role will be to provide first level advice on general HR queries relating to HR policies and procedures, injury management and workers compensation. You will be part of a fast paced team supporting the advisors and their respective client groups and be responsible for but not limited to:

  • First level HR/ER/Payroll enquires;
  • Coordinate the administration of the annual salary review process including the preparation of wage tables for all business and states and preparation of employee salary review letters
  • Update and maintain all position descriptions as required and ensure all employees have current signed position descriptions
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly Exit Interview Feedback reports;
  • Coordinate the Jobfit pre-employment testing processes for new starters and on exit for business units as required;
  • Coordinate Workers Compensation claims documentation to support the relevant HR Advisor;
  • Monitor Workers Compensation files to ensure all relevant documentation including file notes are recorded;
  • Ad-hoc HR projects.

You will ideally hold tertiary qualifications in HR or related field with a minimum of 2 years experience in a generalist Human Resources role that included Workers Compensation claims coordination. To be successful in this role you must have an understanding of the relevant procedures, practices, acts and regulations and processes used within contemporary HR Functions and highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs including Excel.

You will be a talented individual who demonstrates drive and initiative in the application of continuous improvement in work practices. As you are dealing with confidential information and matters you must have a high level attention to detail and ability to manage your time, set priorities and complete tasks and objectives to a high standard while working under pressure.
