Randstad is currently looking for a Portfolio Manager to oversee and manage the planning, coordination and delivery of large scale, complex Information Management (IM) and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) projects. Working in the Health field, this position plays a vital role in the delivery of a solution that is going to impact the community.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver a coordinated ICT Portfolio Plan and Project Plans as required.
  • Coordinate delivery against established priorities and manage dependencies across the ICT program.
  • Monitor the ICT Program of Work including the early identification of delivery conflicts and resolving with peers – escalating as required.
  • Ensure alignment of projects and deliverables with the organizations ICT strategy and architecture.
  • Assess and manage business and project impacts resulting from the ICT program of work.
  • Ensure projects within the assigned ICT Portfolio are managed in accordance with best practice guidelines and the organisations project management approach and methodologies to enable the achievement of consistent and quality project outcomes.
  • Work with internal and external parties to assist them with ICT systems implementation, assurance, testing and support.
  • Work with project managers to assist project activity planning and resource scheduling to ensure the integration of project activities and evaluate impacts on related initiatives and other project activities.
  • Contribute to business integration, change management and commissioning activities.

Necessary Skills:

  • Extensive recent experience in a similar ICT senior leadership role is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading the commissioning of a portfolio of clinical solutions in a complex organisational context.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing the design, deployment and commissioning of the AGFA EI suite of tools in a green fields tertiary hospital build and across a diverse health service.
  • Demonstrated experiencing in the management of a medical imaging portfolio of works across a complex and diverse health service.
  • Demonstrated ability to build robust relationships with key clinical stakeholders.
  • Knowledge and experience in medical imaging workflow practices.
  • Ability to communicate to health service Executives and senior medical staff.
  • While not mandatory, relevant qualifications in Program and/or Project Management would be highly regarded.
