Randstad are currently partnering with a large State Government department based in Brisbane CBD and are looking for a ICT Trainer to join their team for an 5 month contract with likely extension. The purpose of the position is to provide Windows 10 and 365 familiarisation and feature program training for departmental staff. There is a requirement for a training program that encompasses VIP personalised sessions, CBD open sessions as well as specific regional visits to departmental sites to deliver on-site familiarisation sessions.

About You

  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 and Office 365 product training from Beginners to Intermediate.
  • Experience in developing and delivering 365 including Windows 10 training and familiarisation programs in a similar ICT project for medium to large organisations.
  • Proven abilities in developing training guides, materials, on-line tutorials for Microsoft 365 products including Windows 10.
  • Experience in developing training and/or upgrade user programs including change management and communication strategies, techniques.
  • Experience with working with technical staff in understanding issues experienced by users and translating and/or re-developing guides, materials and communications to reflect user’s skill and knowledge requirements.
  • Very good knowledge of software and technology required to develop training materials, aids and guides.

Skills Required

  • Skilled in developing computer-based training (CBT) using tools similar to Camtasia or Captivate.
  • Skilled in analyzing target audience and presenting ideas in a clear, concise manner
  • Ability to consult with stakeholders to offer important technological and organizational feedback

Deliverables

  • Deliver familiarisation/and or upgrade to Windows 10 training sessions with the ability to consult on specific products within the target client environment.
  • The development of training courses and materials for users with various computer abilities to promote learning and provide autonomy.
  • Provide assistance to the department’s staff including telephone and face-to-face support, investigation of issues and direct consultation with client and resolution of product queries.
  • Consults with other business training teams to leverage potential training programs and introduce technology-based training where possible.

Additonal Information

Please note there is a requirement to travel to major regional sites to deliver Windows 10 feature upgrade training.
