About the Company:

This company is a National importer of beautiful foods and beverages and you will be working with some extremely prestigious names in the industry. The role:

A fantastic opportunity has come about for someone who has previous experience working as an imports administrator. Working in this international company you will not only be able to utilise your current skills but also grow and learn. Due to an increase in the work load, there is now an opportunity to join the already successful team. This role will suit someone switched on and ready for a challenge!

In this role you will be:

  • Ensure all scanning compliance is adhered to
  • Ensure all import documentation is scanned in correct files
  • Communicate with external organisations to assist with the release of shipments being held for reasons unknown
  • Reporting to relevant government agencies and internal security of discrepancies, suspect consignments and tampering of shipments
  • Preparation and execution of all transshipment entries
  • Preparation and execution of all quarantine, formal and informal entries
  • Ensure a high level of customer service is provided to all internal and external clients.
  • Any other related tasks as directed by the Manager

This role would suit you if you have:

  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Previous experience working as an imports clerks
  • Previous experience using Cargo Wise EDI system preferable
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Accurate data entry and typing skills
  • A good eye for detail
  • The ability to multi-task and prioritise workloads
  • The willingness to be adaptable and just get stuck in and get on with the day
