Randstad Technologies is currently working with a large organisation in the engineering industry, which is about to begin a large program of work lasting until mid-2017, that is aimed at rapidly progressing their transformation agenda. The focus of the program is to enable the company to become leaner, more efficient, agile and responsive to the changing needs of its customers. To spear head this program, Randstad is seeking a Data Services Manager to deliver a large technology portfolio.
As a leader within the Service Design and Delivery branch, you will develop and maintain an understanding of master data sets; manage master data in accordance with Information Management (IM) policies; and lead the provision of tailored data sets based on business unit requirement.
You will also be forming an integral part of a leadership team and establish and maintain a high-performing and accountable team.
Responsibilities and deliverables:
Lead, coach, develop, and retain a high-performance team with an emphasis on creating an accountable performance culture
Develop understanding of all enterprise master data sets
Manage master data in designated authoritative systems
Provide metadata management services
Develop metadata policy and strategies, as well as provide metadata management services
Drive implementation of enterprise governance systems and policies , including Safety, Environmental, WHS, Risk and Compliance
To be successful, you will have:
Strong leadership, influencing, stakeholder management and communications skills
Experience and expertise in data extraction, transformation and packaging
Demonstrated ability to drive, deliver and sustain large scale transformation
Proven project management skills (qualifications / certifications desirable)
Experience in enterprise data storage (e.g. data warehouses and operational data stores)
