The role & Your responsibilities

The Project Manager (ICT/Property projects) is accountable for the management of various ICT projects within Property Services program of work, delivery of the multi-project outputs and assisting the business transition project outputs to business outcomes.

The role will take responsibility for the decision making for a range of various ICT projects within Property Services program of work for the company. Using project methodologies the Project Manager will identify risks, issues and lead the team in a fast pace complex environment.

The Project Manager (ICT/Property projects) will be accountable for multi-million dollar ITS projects within Property program of work and will lead a team in achieving cost effective results.

Skills & Experience required

  • Substantial career evidence of project management including within large organisations experience in Extensive project lifecycle experience understanding the planning and delivery of projects in its entirety.
  • Basic knowledge of construction projects ranging from minor refurbishments to major construction including reading schematic drawings and adhering to rules of engagement relevant for implementation of ITS solutions.
  • Project experience around Enterprise Infrastructure (Unified Communications, Data Centres, Networks, Cloud, Relocations)
  • Able to execute in a fast pace issue driven landscape.
  • Strong evidence of budget accountability with attention to detail for project reporting and finances including forecasting, estimating, reallocating funds, and creating clear contingencies.
  • Adaptable to changing requirements and changing schedules.
  • Demonstrate innovative approach and out of the box thinking to address real project problems and risks that have the potential to affect stakeholders.
  • Able to drive compliance to standards as well as work through departures and variations.
  • Strong negotiation, defect management, and vendor management.
  • Substantial experience engaging and managing external vendors to project delivery outcomes including management to time, quality and financial KPI’s.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation and influencing skills, and the ability to adapt these to a diverse range of stakeholders and contexts with excellent attention to detail in written work. Proven capability in formal writing via correspondences with numerous parties.
  • Strong risk management both project risk and enterprise risk for assessing potential impacts to project performance.
  • Proven confidence in verbal communication with the successful ability to deal with people at all levels of an organisation including liaising with a wide range of diverse IT & business stakeholders. Experience liaising with senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience working across property refurbishments and relocations
