SafeWork NSW is the state’s workplace health and safety regulator. We focus on harm prevention and improving the safety culture in NSW workplaces.

As an Inspector in the Regional Operations & Sector Initiatives, Northern Operations directorate, you will work with NSW employers to assist in creating and maintaining workplaces where their employees return home safely each day. You will provide advice regarding safe work practices, return to work and injury management practices and how to comply with work health and safety legislation. You will conduct workplace visits and investigations into workplace incidents, injuries, fatalities and complaints.

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Have sound knowledge and experience in workplace health and safety /and within construction or heavy industry (desirable)
  • Have exceptional communication skills to engage and influence key stakeholders to improve safety outcomes
  • Have the motivation and drive to achieve positive outcomes for the broader NSW community

Location: Field based positions within the Hunter (Metro) region, however base office is located Newcastle

Salary: Receive an attractive salary package along with packaged motor vehicle options. Salary range starting from $97,094 plus superannuation.
