Our client, a multinational financial services business is looking for an internal auditor to join their team to enhance their capabilities and ensure all audit activities can be completed within timescale and to a good standard. Within the wider team of Auditors, and reporting into the senior Audit manager, your core responsibilities will involve:

  • Assisting with core audit assignments and projects across a range of systems and processes.
  • Apply risk assessment methodologies to determine scope and design appropriate testing procedures.
  • Draft comprehensive and clear audit reporting for review by audit management.
  • Document audit workpapers in line with approved methodology and standards.
  • Provide ongoing advice and feedback to businesses around risks and control environment.
  • Contribute to a culture of continual improvement and development within the Audit team, actively seeking and providing feedback.

To be successful in this role you will have

  • at least 3 years experience in audit / risk management from an Australian Big 4 Chartered firm.
  • corporate and relevant post-graduate qualification (e.g. CA / CPA / CIA).
  • Prior experience in Insurance or other Wealth Management entities will be a bonus.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to influence at all levels.
