Randstad's Government Team are currently recruiting for APS4 & APS5 level Investigations Officers for a rapidly growing Federal Governement Department in the heart of Brisbane's CBD (close to public transport).

About The Role

January 2019 Start
Temporary Contract till EOFY
Full Time Hours - 5 days a week

  • Researching and analysing complaints, and deciding whether or not to apply early resolution approaches or investigate in accordance with guidelines and provisions.
  • Conducting assessment and investigation of complaints about matters of administration with numerous government agencies.
  • Providing, both orally and in writing, clear and accurate advice about complaints to complainants, agencies and other team members
  • Focusing on resolving complaints through effective negotiation with a range of agencies to influence agencies to treat people fairly through investigations of their administration
  • Working effectively and cooperatively as a member of a team, including assisting with quality assurance and participation in corporate and business improvement activities
  • Displaying professionalism while managing difficult complainants.

Eligibility
Must be an Australian Citizen with relevant experience in a similar role.
Will need to pass a Criminal History Check.
