A Government regulatory body is currently seeking trained and qualified Investigations team members to provide immediate support to an existing team. This initially short term placement has the opportunity for extension or transition into full time work.

A successful candidate will:

  • Lead complex investigations relating to complaints arising from members of the public.
  • Possess a sound knowledge of legislation, industry regulation and relevant policies.
  • Manage a portfolio of enquiry cases at any one time. Design, implement and continually monitor investigative action plans for each case, whilst appropriately assigning resources.
  • have strongly developed interpersonal skills, and be an expert at stakeholder engagement.
  • Be confident and comfortable structuring and conducting interviews with witnesses and persons of interest.
  • Interpret investigation findings into reports & court briefs to be presented before the judicial bodies.

Roles are ready for an immediate start with a 3 month contractual period initially, People from Policing or other investigations backgrounds will be highly desired in these roles.

qualification

A strong history in Governance & Compliance with a focus on investigations.
A Certificate 4 or greater in Government Investigations.
A Degree in Criminology or similar would be highly regarded.
