Business Development / Key Account Manager

Work for one of Australia’s biggest names in plumbing supplies for bathrooms, kitchens and laundries, amongst other products.
You will take responsibility in the identification and development of new business in the multi-residential segment to deliver on agreed profit and sales objective. You will leverage your networks and interpersonal skills to reach key stakeholders in this segment and build meaningful relationships through a B2B approach.
In this autonomous role, you will maximise your opportunities by planning, scheduling and managing the customer base through effective sales and call cycle plans, monitoring of performance against these plans whilst ensuring fulfilment of service and price commitments to customers. Negotiating the right product specifications to meet customer requirements is critical.
Your sales experience will be within the building or a related industry. Exposure to dealing with developers and builders is highly advantageous as you will be building your own desk of clients. Solid business acumen and a high level of communication, negotiation and problem solving skills are essential.
You will enjoy employing your interpersonal skills to build rapport and long term relationships. Your resilient and strategic sales approach will help you succeed in this crucial position. A high work ethic, customer focus and desire to take ownership of your portfolio will see you strive to achieve the business objectives. A driver’s licence is essential.
