Australian IT Services Company who is expanding requires a Level 2 Support Engineer for their offices in North West Sydney.

The role requires the Level 2 Support Engineer to provide expertise and customer service to restore normal service as quickly as possible and perform requests for service for customers and internal employees.

On a daily basis your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing level 2 technical support in a timely, efficient and professional manner.
  • Facilitate the Incident Management process from initial incoming call through to Level 2 supprt, including end user and server technology stack.
  • Responding to a wide range of software and hardware issues and services queries.
  • Quickly identifying and troubleshooting issues including Microsoft application, web, email, computer networking issues in a timely fashion.
  • Logging faults via ITIL ticketing system.
  • Assist and maintain customers MS Windows server environment during nominated Windows.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Microsoft certifications.
  • Ability to design and implement MS Windows based solutions.
  • Strong desktop, server and Office 365 experience.
  • Good working knowledge of Active Directory & Exchange
  • Solid customer service skills and troubleshooting experience.
  • Ability to implement VMware solutions utilising VMware product range.
  • Strong Microsoft skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
