Working with a leading bank on a newly created e-Communications Surveillance role. The ideal candidate will have either FICC or Equities Trade/eComms Surveillance experience to step into a broad coverage role across multiple asset classes (FX, Commodities, FX Options, Money Markets, Fixed income and Derivatives).


Responsibilities

  • Review alerts for potential instances of market conduct abuse across all asset classes above and multiple jurisdictions.
  • Investigate alerts to determine appropriate course of action or false positives
  • Develop and implement e-Comms and Trade Surveillance capabilities across all asset classes.
  • Provide internal MI reporting
  • Ad hoc duties


Experience/skills required

  • Strong financial markets knowledge across FICC products ideally otherwise Equities/Derivatives
  • 1-4 years proven experience gained in either of the following before moving into Compliance/Surveillance:
    • Trade/eCommunications Surveillance across above products
    • front office trade support with strong IT skills then into Compliance
    • Control Room surveillance
  • Strong problem solving skills, multi-tasking ability
  • Good IT/excel skills
