An exciting opportunity has just been made available for an individual looking to solidify their career with a leading Australian FMCG business based in the CBD. Carrying some of the most iconic brand names, this role will suit someone who is looking for autonomy and full responsibility of a business unit. All whilst utilising their sales, negotiation and analytical skills to engage and drive growth across the Woolworths Group accounts.

Role of Business Manager

  • You will be responsible for managing Woolworths, Big W & Woolworths Petrol
  • Plan, direct and control sales and marketing business strategies
  • Contribute to all aspects of the Business Drivers including NPD, Promotional Drivers and Business Development.
  • Responsible for the ranging of all agreed New Product Launches
  • Collaborate with promotion, training, product development and market research staff in planning and executing special projects and programmes within the customer.
  • Accountable for Private Label Development
  • Travel interstate required occasionally
  • You will report into the Head of Sales

To be successful in this role

  • Success in this role will come from leveraging from your background in a Senior NAM / National Business Manager role
  • You will have managed Woolworths previously (2 years min)
  • You will come from the FMCG/Consumer Goods sector (8 years min)
  • You will possess a driven, pro active personality who has a passion for sales and building relationships
  • You will have excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • You will have strong analytical and negotiation skills
