    The roleLocated in Batchelor, this hands on position will be joining a highly-skilled and determined team with the expectation of ensuring all safe work instructions are being regularly reviewed as well as developing training programs for all new and existing employees. Reporting into the Operations Manager, the OHS & Training Coordinator will ensure on the job training is being planned and implemented by all stakeholders of plant and equipment at the establishment. You will undertake the following duties and responsibilities (not limited to):Co-ordinate retraining of existing personnel to upgrade skills for new procedures.Develop competency standards for all on plant employees.Provide new-employee health and safety orientations and develop materials for these.Maintain all the safety prestart for all machinery.Ensure that any dangerous goods or materials are correctly stored and the appropriate MSDS are available and staff trained in handling the goods and any potential spills.Assist with internal and external audits to ensure compliance with the WHS Safety Management System and relevant legislation. About you The role would ideally suit an experienced individual who has a proven track record of successfully delivering staff training, OHS and continuous improvements sessions.
