About

This is an incredible opportunity for an experienced Office Manager to join a world leading Italian construction company located right by North Sydney train station. Known for their innovative and forward thinking solutions, this client is wanting someone who can bring some passion and energy to the business.

The Role

As the Office Manager, you will be responsible for providing support to the company directors and the financial manager in the administration and accounting requirements of the company.

Day to day responsibilities:

  • Management of office correspondence
  • Travel Coordination for senior staff
  • Providing first point of contact for the company
  • Processing and distribution of incoming and outgoing mail and courier deliveries.
  • Monitoring and ordering of office stationary/supplies
  • Collection and recording of staff timesheets and leave requests
  • Accounts payable duties, including data entry, monthly account reconciliations and employee expense claims
  • Banking administration and preparation of credit card summaries and reconciliations
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports
  • Ad hoc duties

Skills Required

This role requires a high level of initiative as you will be responsible for coordinating all office functions on behalf of the team. Additionally, as team cohesiveness is essential to this company, a friendly and warm approach is a must.

In addition you will have:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills- ability to speak Italian is ideal, however not essential
  • Great attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team across different functions in the business
  • Ability to plan, prioritise and manage tasks effectively
  • Proficient in Excel and Word
  • Knowledge of MYOB
