OSHC Assistant Coordinator - Compliance - St Lucia

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a large 195 place OSHC service located in the St Lucia area! Working alongside the Assistant Coordinator for Education and reporting to a very passionate Coordinator, you will be responsible for implementating all relevant aspects of service policies and procedures for the service.

This role is perfect for an individual with keen eye for detail, passionate about health and safety and is able to stay on top of any legislation and policy changes.

YOUR ROLE

As Assistant Coordinator - Compliance, your primary responsibility is the development and implementation of the OSHC service's policies and procedures in accordance with government legislation.

The role involves all aspects of compliance, including but not limited to health and safety regulations and reporting, building educator knowledge of the national quality standard and enforcing all reporting and accountability of compliance practices.

Requirements

  • a Diploma of Children's services or ACEQCA approved equivalent
  • a current Working with Children Check or equivalent, current driver’s licence, first aid certificate (including asthma and anaphylactic training) and resuscitation certificate.
  • a love of early childhood education
  • experience in a similar role or roles involving high-compliance
  • the skills to lead other educators, motivating them to excel as they adhere to policy and procedure
  • Demonstrate understanding of how personal leadership impacts the performance and behaviour of educators
