Thriving 150 place service, at occupancy with full enrollment for 2019, seeks strong OSHC Coordinator with a focus on community and school relationships.

Based in the North Lakes area, you will have the support of 2 Assistant Coordinators, the Principal and a strong existing team.

As Coordinator you will not be included in the ratio, freeing your time to be spent leading, mentoring and building solid relationships with the parents, staff and children!

This is a full-time position, split shift with 8 hours of non-contact time per week.

Skills and Knowledge

  • Previous experience in a similar position
  • Ability to develop warm and respectful relationships with families and children
  • Strong behaviour management experience
  • Develop and evaluate a FUN and engaging program
  • Foster strong relationships with the school community as well as the P&C
  • Demonstrated capacity to lead, coordinate and supervise your team of educators
  • Demonstrated understanding of contemporary child care and early learning practices and issues.
  • Effective time management, people management and interpersonal skills.


Essential Criteria:

  • A Diploma of Children’s services or ACEQCA recognised equivalent
  • Strong communication skills
  • An awareness of and commitment to the National Regulations, Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), National Quality Standards (NQS)
  • Current First Aid Certificate, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training or willingness to undertake
  • Working with Children check/valid Blue Card
