OSHC Coordinator - Manly West area

We have recently partnered with a beautiful OSHC located in the Manly West region, currently licensed for 120.

For this position, we are specifically looking for an experienced Coordinator who is passionate about all thing OSHC!

As a Coordinator you have the autonomy to plan and implement your own OSHC programme, establish strong relationships with the P&C and lead, develop & manage an experienced team of educators.

This is a full-time position, flexible hours (option for no split shift) with an immediate start. Significant non-contact time.

Overall, together with the support of two fantastic 2IC's and dedicated President and Operations Manager, you will lead and manage the service on a day-to-day basis, implementing and leading fun and engaging programmes!

Skills and Knowledge

  • Previous experience in a similar position
  • Ability to develop warm and respectful relationships with families and children
  • Strong behaviour management experience
  • Develop and evaluate a FUN and engaging program
  • Foster strong relationships with the school community as well as the P&C
  • Demonstrated capacity to lead, coordinate and supervise your team of educators
  • Demonstrated understanding of contemporary child care and early learning practices and issues.
  • Effective time management, people management and interpersonal skills.

Essential Criteria:

  • A Diploma of Children’s services or ACEQCA recognised equivalent
  • Strong communication skills
  • An awareness of and commitment to the National Regulations, Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), National Quality Standards (NQS)
  • Current First Aid Certificate, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training or willingness to undertake
  • Working with Children check/valid Blue Card
