Randstad are currently seeking payroll officers for a Government client. Working with this Government Department you will receive excellent on the job training to be able to perform at your best and achieve great results. We are looking for people who have strong organisation, communication skills and the capacity to manage several tasks or request simultaneously.

Duties include:

  • Promoting workplace practices consistent with agency policy and in accordance with Australian Public Service values and leadership behaviours;
  • Share your expertise and technical knowledge with your peers and the broader site team;
  • Conducting internal service delivery processes and implementing best practice and continuous improvement processes;
  • Maintaining payroll operations by following policies and procedures;
  • Developing ad hoc financial and operating reporting as needed; and
  • Ensuring all payroll transactions are processed efficiently

Experience:

  • Excellent communication both written and verbal
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to work collaborative in a high performing team
  • Be organised and have the ability to prioritise
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to learn quickly and understand complex legislation
  • Payroll processing and knowledge with superannuation
  • Display personal resilience and reliability
