These two positions have arisen due to a large scale transformation of how this particular government entity is run.

A section of the payroll will be split out from the current payroll and then shared between a number of outsourced service providers. All of whom would have different T&As but all of whom would have SAP.

The role is working with a project director to manage a small team to set up a new payroll process in SAP and then to manage the data migration and transition of sections of the payroll to different outsourced providers.

The role will encompass:

- Managing parts of the project, planning the project. Including looking at the scope and budget of the project, work breakdown, communication plans and risk management. Tracking the status of the particular deliverables of the project, sticking to the KPIs and providing regular forecasts on due dates.

- You'll also be setting objectives around the project, cost tracking, performance tracking and ensuring a smooth transition of the section of the payroll.

- Working with the systems team and figuring out how to ensure that the different time and attendance systems link in to SAP.

- Testing that the above solutions work with parallel runs, system integration testing and user acceptance testing.

- Hiring project officers to ensure delivery to the project.

- Managing the data migration from the "old world SAP" to the "transition SAP" so that it is then ready to be given to the outsourced agents.


- Ideally we'd like to hire someone who has done this sort of thing before... However the main requirements are experience with SAP or experience managing this sort of project.
