A well known and highly regarded organization specializing in Asset Management & Construction Services is seeking a Workforce Planning Manager to join the team. The company has won a major contract which will see it managing up to 5000 jobs per day. It is a role that will require a dynamic, highly responsive but pro-active manager with exceptional leadership and communication skills.

A well known and highly regarded organisation specialising in Asset Management & Construction Services is seeking a Workforce Planning Manager to join the team. The company has won a major contract which will see it managing up to 5000 jobs per day.

This role will be responsible for all planning activities, managing a team of planners, handle new projects, forecast planning, reporting and scheduling.

It is a role that will require a dynamic, highly responsive but pro-active manager with exceptional leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities would include:

  • Managing the planning team
  • Creating, preparing and managing prior to the day planning, forecasting and budgets
  • Communicating staffing capacity and additional rostering requirements, forecasting demand and future forecasting trends
  • Work closely with the planning team to create and deliver effective and accurate reports
  • Continuously strive for business improvement efficiencies

Skills being sought:

  • 5-7 years workforce planning or scheduling
  • Degree in Business, Finance, Commerce or relevant industry
  • Experience managing a team with multiple reports
  • Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders

Capabilities being sought:

  • Experience with construction / major project rollout / telecommunications projects – not essential but desirable
  • Senior stakeholder management experience
  • Strong analytical and problem solving and numerical skills
  • Ability to prioritise and exceptionally organised
  • Ensure adherence to WHS&E Legislation and implement HSEQ system on various projects
