About the company

A major resources entity; formed in 1999 after a merger. Employing over 900 staff globally. FIFO (8 on / 6 off) located in South Australia working around mineral processing operations and related plant maintenance.

About the role

This hands on role is an integral part of the BAU operation and would support the organisation to ensure the metallurgical process in all processing and mining operations infrastructure are operated efficiently so that production rates and recovery are maximised, asset integrity is maintained and inputs costs are minimised. A strong commitment to WHS is required at all times.


  • Production – Minimise losses and improve capacity
  • Compliance - Health, Safety and Environment
  • Oversee laboratory functions performance by metallurgical technicians

Skill and experience

Are you passionate about offering advice and ensuring compliance is achieved?

  • Either a chemical process, metallurgy or similar degree
  • Well developed process engineering experience
  • Mineral processing or wet separation experience would be advantageous but not essential
  • Developed problem solving skills
  • Good PC skills including MSExcel for regular reporting and analysis
  • Proven supervisory experience
  • A collaborative approach, adaptable and flexible.
  • Current Class C Drivers License and must be able to drive a manual 4WD
  • All candidates will undergo psychometric assessment, detailed references and pre-employment medical

This is a Permanent FIFO role, 8 days on/6 off, travel time included in working hours, no overtime. Individual living quarters and full camp facilities provided. There is a genuine commitment to growth and further education on offer.
