A major resources entity; formed in 1999 after a merger. Employing over 900 staff globally. With clear goals and objectives set, stability and growth are evident through capital projects and mine expansion currently underway. A family friendly FIFO (8 on / 6 off) located in South Australia.

About the role

Reporting to the Production Manager this role is accountable for all critical aspects of production of the mining operation including shift, production and employee management. Meeting of production targets by continuous improvement and problem solving. Ability to communicate and influence across all levels; internal and external stakeholders as well as vendor management.


  • Profitability – optimising product quality, quantity and recovery
  • Commercial Management
  • Continuous improvement – production strategies, equipment efficiencies
  • People management – setting of goals and performance standards, maintaining a cooperative team environment, ensuring WHS requirements are met
  • Managing relationships with on-site vendors

Skill and experience

  • Quarry Managers Certificate – highly regarded
  • Demonstrated experience as a mine site production supervisor or superintendent responsible for production/operations
  • Problem solver – Continuous improvement
  • Extensive experience in management of mining contractors and personnel
  • MSOffice and SAP experience - advantageous

This is a Permanent FIFO role, 8 days on/6 off, travel time included in working hours. Interstate candidates will be 100% considered and supported.
