My client is a large well established Government Agency based in Chatswood and currently has an opening for a Senior Program Coordinator to come on board and take ownership of the the support and coordination of a large state wide program of work running across several sites. You will be an enthusiastic self starter with a solid background in program coordination supporting multiple work streams and Project Managers across an enterprise wide program of work.

The successful incumbent will have a pragmatic approach to problem solving, excellent communication, organisation and time management skills as well as having the ability to develop and maintain strong business relationships with a range of stakeholders.

To be considered for this role you will have the following skills and experience:

  • 5+ experience working as a Program Coordinator within a large program (involving at least 8-10 projects
  • Extensive experience in project and program management methods within a large and complex ICT environment,
  • Expert knowledge and demonstrated experience in managing projects and programs, procurement, program financial and stakeholder management.
  • Superior time management, communication and organisational skills
  • Hands on experience managing and updating Risk/Issues registers
  • Exceptional reporting skills including financial actuals
  • Updating and maintaining complex project plans
  • Sounds knowledge of procurement and procurement processes within an ICT environment
  • Proven capacity to contribute to and promote strategic initiatives, including the capability to plan, manage change, improve performance and project manage.

The Senior Program Coordinator is responsible for managing strategic support, implementation, delivery and operations for this State-Wide Program of work and will lead and report on small to medium sized projects and resources and oversee multiple projects across the entire program of works.
