My client a well known entertainment company is seeking a highly experienced Program Manager for the planning, management, control and delivery of business projects. Working directly for the Head of PMO you will be responsible for the Trading suite of projects including:

  • Integration – consolidation of trading functions and process efficiencies; yield improvements; system integration
  • BAU – trading systems enhancements and stability projects

Your overall role will be working across the following:

  • Direct and control the integration and BAU projects end to end bringing together appropriate stream leads across Technology, Risk, Legal, Regulatory, Finance, Change
  • Define the scope, plan, and all deliverables for the projects.
  • Develop and execute a plan to transform the ways of working in Technology to ensure a balance of quality and timeliness and efficiency of delivery
  • Manage stakeholders with a focus on influencing Technology
  • Manage competing priorities, interdependencies and milestones across the projects, risk management, issue escalation/resolution, scope change and implementation planning
  • Open and consistent communication with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Follow enterprise project management methodologies, tools and governance processes
  • Ensure compliance with contractual agreements and regulatory obligations
  • Provide reporting of status, including progress, completion outlook, and budget actuals/forecast to PMO (and Integration Management Office). Budget tracking
  • To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience:
  • Experience in a leading large and complex business programs or projects
  • (Desirable) in Trading areas or on Trading projects
  • Demonstrated experience with and knowledge of Project Management discipline, principles and practice in Agile environments
  • Understanding of how to improve agile practices to increase efficiency and timeliness
  • Certification in PRINCE2 or PMBoK or equivalent methodology
  • Demonstrated ability to create documents including business cases, steering committee papers, presentations, technical and commercial content
  • High level of Project Management skills with a proven ability to deliver the projects objectives on time and within budget
  • Outcome focused with demonstrated ability to meet business outcomes and deadlines
  • Experience with negotiation, consultation and communication within a complex project environment
  • Ability to develop effective working relationships within internal and external stakeholders and bring cross functional teams together
  • Experience in translating business unit strategy into target operating models and building programs of work to deliver to the strategy
