About The Role -

This position supports the local administration and delivery of Land and Housing’s maintenance contract. Primarily, your role would require you to prepare office estimates and contribute to the development of the Quarterly Program of Works. You will be attending on-site inspections of LAH properties in order to support negotiations with contractors, and ensure works are appropriately delivered to the properties.

Essential Criteria -

In order to be successful in this role, you will possess the following:

  • Strong all-round MS Office suite skills
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
  • High computer literacy with ability to adapt to and learn new systems quickly
  • Building maintenance knowledge/background
  • Experience with contracts administration in a construction/building industry
  • Commitment to working collaboratively in a team environment
  • Proven ability to create positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • A high ethos around maintaining sensitivity and confidentiality
  • Demonstrated knowledge of compliance and adherence to policies and procedures

Highly Desirable -

  • Project management experience
  • Previously employed in a Government role
