You would be apart of a diverse team specialising in the management of legal and logistical aspects of local sites across and involved in the roll out, maintenance and servicing of essential networks of the NBN.

The Role

Provide direct supervision of subcontractors and internal work crews to ensure all field work activity is conducted at each site in a safe and effective manner. The Project Construction Supervisor will manage the work crews to meet project delivery and quality targets and ensure compliance is reached.

The Responsibilities

  • Manage the day to day activity of field work, staff, equipment and materials to ensure that the performance of field work occurs in accordance with agreed schedules.
  • Ensure the standard of all work in the field is of a high quality and in accordance with work practices and standards required by the Client, the Company and service providers.
  • Manage scope changes in accordance with the Commercial Management Procedures.
  • Ensure the provision of high quality and timely field documentation to enable effective client invoicing.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and 3rd party stakeholders, subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Ensure all staff and contractors are following all policies and procedures set by the client and Service Stream's quality, environmental and safety plans.
  • Ensure the distribution of all safety, technical and process communications are provided to all staff & contractors.
  • Lead and maintain a positive team, motivating people to achieve the highest levels of job satisfaction.
  • Assist to Identify and develop process and work practices to improve productivity and reduce the costs of field work activities.

Qualifications/Experience Required

  • Cooper and Aerial experience is essential
  • Undergraduate Degree or Diploma in Construction Management
  • Experience in Construction Management leading programs of work and managing supply chain.
  • Ability to communicate across a broad range of stakeholders
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
