job description

This role is working on an extremely strong bid team which is based in Sydney CBD for a major $1.5 billion scheme of works on Sydney Metro. The programme is to provide all of the air quality monitoring, track (per way), power and tunnel ventilation systems across Sydney Metro from Chatswood to Bankstown.

The contract is expected to initially be for four to five months but this could easily extend and could also result in a long term contract/permanent opportunity if this specific team were to win the project. The Tunnel Services Containment Engineer role will initially be expected to provide high quality bid support across the containment of tunnel electrical services.

A competitive hourly rate is available and a permanent opportunity also exists if suitable candidates are prepared to work on other projects in NSW that this leading contractor are currently bidding and delivering.

Suitable candidates would be expected to have:

  1. Rail experience
  2. Experience in working on bids
  3. Experience in managing the containment of electrical services in a tunnel (cable trays, cable pulling etc..)
  4. Ideally have experience working for a contracting organisation.

An immediate start is available for the right person. For further information please don't hesitate to contact Andy Lowe at
