The aim of this 12 month role is to manage a project to perform gap analysis and close-out of the gaps to asset management frameworks, associated processes and documentation

The responsibilities will include:

Engaging company, client and third party consultant stakeholders to assess requirements, priorities and appropriate actions

Coordinate and implement the recommendations and opportunities for improvement

Travel and consult with key technical, asset management, HSEQ, finance and operations stakeholders around Australia

Present and report progress of project activities to stakeholders, participate in workshops and meetings

Provide important input into the development of an updated asset management strategy in order to ensure compliance with best practice.

Review existing asset management project arrangements and implement new processes for post investment appraisals

Coordinate the scoping and development of an asset management manual

Work with stakeholders to develop and support improvements to life-cycle planning, data management and reporting strategies

Qualifications being sought:

  • Tertiary education in a technical discipline (engineering or science)
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a utility, engineering or industrial business
  • Must have demonstrated project management experience
  • Thorough knowledge of principles of good asset management and maintenance
  • Good knowledge and understanding of the application of corporate business systems
  • Some knowledge and understanding of ISO9001, 14001 and 55001

  • Excellent project management, planning, organisations and administrative skills
  • Excellent English writing skills
  • Good verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Mature, Self Motivated and able to work autonomously
  • Ability to work in a team environment

Additional skills:

  • MS Office proficiency
  • Project management accreditation (PMBOK or equivalent would be beneficial)
  • Experience with using any of the following - SAP PM, Maximo, Infor EAM
