Join this Australian EPC who specialises in providing project engineering and construction services for Utility Projects across Australia. Having a long term presence in the industry, a national presence and a loyal client base across Australia. They boast one of the largest and most experienced multi-disciplined engineering teams across the country - out of Adelaide.

Reporting to the Program Manager, you will be responsible for the profitable completion of High Voltage system construction while maximising customer satisfaction, efficient resource usage and safe work practices. You will work with your Manager and Project Team(s) to provide excellence in engineering /construction, ensure a safe workplace, a positive working environment, and a high level of staff morale. This opportunity will build you a solid foundation for your career and improve your development rate!

To be considered for this role you will need:

  • Demonstrated post-graduate primary substation design engineering experience
  • Demonstrated design engineering project achievements
  • Strong client focus
  • Strong analytical & problem solving skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Significant experience in the project management within the high voltage construction
  • industry
  • Experience in project financial management
  • General knowledge of design, procurement, construction and commissioning
  • Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline (desirable)
  • Certified in Project Management and be a member of a recognised Project Management
  • professional body (essential)
  • Ability to liaise with client engineers, suppliers and subcontractors
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Some travel (including overnight stays and away work) may be required. A current Australian driver’s licence is required.
