The Role:

A State Government department currently has need of a project officer to support a major project.
The Project Officer will provide high level project support to the Senior Project Manager and the project team.
The Successful applicant will play a key role in ensuring that project deliverables, outcomes and plans are implemented effectively, working in consultation with project staff and key stakeholders.

What you need:

  • Knowledge and understanding of the Public Sector
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare briefs, letters, emails and reports using clear and concise language, appropriate for the target audience
  • Administration and briefing experience
  • Project support experience in a government setting.
  • Highly developed stakeholder engagement skills.

This role is a contractor role in an exciting and interesting area of government with a quickly changing environment.
A successful candidate will be able to work autonomously and be self motivated and able to make quick decisive decisions independantly.
