Our client is a Government Organisation is looking for an experienced Quality Assurance person to join their Payment Assurance/Compliance team.

Your duties will be (but not limited to):

  • Create and apply testing for risk functions across the applicable business areas
  • Business Assurance control testing for provider payments
  • Liaise with providers when compliance matters are raised and do not meet business policies and legislated requirements
  • Ensuring the Group risk register is up to date, identifies relevant risks and that mitigation actions are being progressed to reduce the likelihood of these risks being realised;
  • Working across the business to identify and respond to provider sharp practices (that is, practices that may not be illegal, but may be unethical or misleading);
  • Maintaining the Provider Operations and Performance Branch incident register
  • Carry out control testing for risks identified in the business Group risk register.

To be successful you will:

  • Have a strong background in Quality Assurance & Compliance
  • Have a high level of resilience and be able to adapt to change swiftly.
  • React to payment irregularities picked up via various channels by liaising with providers.
  • Carry out control and conformance testing of provider payments
  • Create Provider reports on control weaknesses and propose policy/procedure/system improvements
  • Collaborate with the senior leadership team, Provider Payment Assurance, to ensure quick and precise updates of the business Group risk register, including assisting with risk workshops and the Group Risk Committee.
  • Manage training documents and reporting for payment assurance remediation and provider non-compliance.
  • Ensure high quality record keeping, including competency with IT systems.
  • Display excellent time management skills whilst maintaining high work standards and accuracy.
  • Promote workplace values and practices in line with the business policies
