Part of a multi-national organisation, this small regional office service Australia, New Zeal and the Asia Pacific region. The role will involve liaising with third party manufacturers, handling customer complains and facilitating problem resolution

Part of a multi-national organisation, this office supports Australia, New Zealand and the Asia Pacific region. This role will be pivotal in planning, directing and coordinating quality assurance programs to help ensure products meet required quality standards.

The role will be responsible for liaising with manufacturing teams around the globe for quality related issues and support engineering teams with process and design changes.

The role will also be responsible for:

  • Developing, updating and maintaining quality documentation and systems
  • Ensure that the company adhered to ISO 9001:2008 standards in order to maintain registration
  • Lead, encourage, develop, provide training and promote a culture of quality awareness
  • Work with suppliers to develop quality standards for the products and services they provide
  • Work closely with manufacturing engineers and recommend changes to production processes in order to improve capability and reduce defects based on statistical data
  • Some international travel will be required within the Asia Pacific region

Degree or Trade qualification with experience in a quality role within an mechanical / electrical or electronics manufacturing business.
