Our client based close to Southern Cross Station is looking for a proactive and engaging receptionist to join their team. To provide excellent front of house customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.

The Role:

This role is based within the Victorian State Government, with the main responsibility of the role to provide high quality front office support. This role will see you provide a high level of Reception and Administration support to internal staff.


  • Meet and greet clients
  • Provide administrative support
  • Ensure the meeting space is maintained and manage room bookings
  • Professional and friendly customer service across both internal and external clients
  • Assist with the management of both incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Provide efficiently and accurate administration support to the branch
  • Financial administration using internal system ‘TRIM’
  • Assist in the organisation and co-ordination of branch events.

We are looking for:
The Ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills both written and spoken as the successful candidate will be an integral point of contact within the department. They will also have strong organisational & time management skills to handle a busy work load.

Skills and experience:

  • Previous experience in a reception or administration focused role
  • Full availability to commence immediately 9:00am – 5:00pm
  • Developed computer skills using Microsoft Office Suite, Lotus Notes and TRIM.
  • Previous experience working across Government Departments highly desired.
