Individual serving as the first point of contact in an office. Receptionists are usually seated at the entrance of an office and do a variety of administrative tasks including, but not limited to, answering phones calls, making photocopies, distributing mail, signing for packages, and general office upkeep.

In partnership with our client, a leading independant school in Melbourne's South Eastern suburb of Oakleigh, Randstad is looking to appoint a true receptionist as defined above.
About the role:
As the director of first impressions, the receptionist of this school is required to maintain a calm office and provide outstanding customer service to parents, students and visitors via telephone calls and face to face interaction.
Duties will also include:
  • Filing
  • Stationary Order
  • Mail
  • Various ad hoc admin tasks
  • Answering all incoming calls
  • Greeting all visitors

About you:

With your previous experience in an administrative role, you will be immediately available to jump into these already established teams with a 'no job too small' attitude. Your skills and attributes will include but not be limited to:

  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Extensive administrative experience
  • Strong MS Office skills including Excel
  • Full Time availability (no part time option unfortunately)
  • Team player
  • Friendly disposition
  • Quick learner
  • Previous experience within school environment desired but not essential
  • Current Employee (E) Working with Children Check
  • First Aid desired but not essential
