    Randstad has been tasked with recruiting an exciting new opportunity for a senior Supervisor to join a market leading pharmaceutical manufacturer in Northern Victoria. Due to growth and further expansion of the site, the company is looking to add a Supervisor to their well established team to assist in managing our manufacturing activities.Reporting directly to the General Manager- Operations, the Supervisor will handle the day-to-day supervision of operations including ensuring GMP standards are maintained and meeting production schedules, whilst ensuring strict compliance with all relevant State and Federal regulations.The role - Manage and oversee operations for preventative maintenance & calibration of production equipment and the premisesParticipate in the recruitment of employees and manage their productivity, training, safety and performance.Oversee production planning, including supply chain activities to ensure customer orders are met on time and in full, to GMP standards and compliance with all relevant polices and SOPsIdentify opportunities for process improvements and manage the improvement initiativesRaise deviations in a timely manner and take a lead role with any investigations and data analysis to identify root causes. Provide and implement were appropriate solutions to corrective and preventative actionsAssist in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with all regulatory bodies.About you - To be successful in this role, you will need the following -Tertiary qualification in Pharmaceutical Science (preferable) and/or over 3 years experience in a GMP manufacturing role.You must be reliable, fit and attentiveStrong leadership skills, which will ensure a safe, productive work environment for you and your team. As a result of your experience in pharmaceutical production, you are able to make the right decisions to ensure the high standard of quality and compliance is maintained by your team. Patient safety will be a key driver in your structured methodical high quality approach to your work.Customer service focused: committed to providing exceptional external and internal customer serviceCommunication: the ability to communicate clearly and concisely, varying communication style depending upon the audienceAttention to detail: excellent attention to detail and written skills when communicating with others, both internally and externallyCommerciality: ability to apply knowledge in a practical, commercial manner.
