My client is a leading industrial refrigeration company with a product range that encompasses service and installation, refrigeration equipment and commercial HVAC, used extensively across multiple industries.

An exciting opportunity has now arisen for a high energy, persuasive and incredibly commercial individual that will take ownership of the planning and implementation of sales, marketing and product development programs.

This is a key position within the organization and this role will see you responsible for accelerate the growth of sales whilst collaborating with senior stakeholders to set revenue goals and company strategy for the next 5 years.

The key responsibilities for this role are:

  • Developing and implements strategic marketing plans and sales plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for products and services
  • Managing sales/marketing operating budgets
  • Defining and executing sales strategies, business development, operations and sales support programs to maximise profitability and sales
  • Attending to key events to generate national leads
  • Monitoring competitor products, sales and marketing activities
  • Establishing and maintains relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners
  • Improving product marketability and profitability by researching, identifying, and capitalizing on market opportunities; coordinating new product development
  • Maintaining rapport with key accounts by making periodic visits; exploring specific needs; anticipating new opportunities

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experienced in making ultimate decisions regarding pricing, inventory, vendor management
  • The ability to demonstrate their capability to sell and to deal with strategic accounts
  • 5 years of successful sales and marketing experience at a national level in a related industry
  • Strong negotiation with relationship building skills at a senior level
  • A strong industrial background, wholesales experience highly regarded
  • Creativity and ability to think around problems
  • Hands on sales experience with some element of technical knowledge
