A strong Australian company at the forefront of its industry is currently seeking an experienced Sales Coordinator or skilled Customer Service individual to join the team in an integral role, primarily supporting the internal sales team.

You will be responsible for:

  • Processing quotes and orders, working towards set KPIs
  • Handling quality issues
  • Following up customer inquiries in a professional and efficient way
  • Utilising systems to ensure contact details, communication and orders are recorded accurately
  • Working closely with the sales team to ensure set targets are being achieved
  • Contributing to strategic decisions when required
  • Attending weekly/monthly meetings as required
  • Using initiative to prioritise workload and assist the broader team
  • Attending ongoing training to ensure optimum performance in your role
  • Building strong relationships with internal teams and communicating effectively to build knowledge of the business processes, and in turn enhance the customer experience
  • Following all policies and procedures as set by the company
  • Abiding by all safety guidelines set

Skills / Experience required for this role:

  • Previous experience within a professional ‘business to business’ customer service / sales support role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A strong work ethic and ability to self motivate
  • A desire to work in a team environment, working collaboratively with various internal teams
  • Strong problem solving skills and the ability to be proactive
  • A fine tuned attention to detail and proven record of accuracy
  • Ability to multi task and prioritise workload, working to deadlines
  • A proficient understanding of Microsoft Office
  • Experience working with internal systems and ability to learn new programs efficiently
