In this Brisbane based role you, as Sales Engineer, will report directly to the Regional Sales Manager. Your duties will include:

  • Account managing a book of business in a defined area in South East and Central Queensland
  • Implementing sales strategies, based on customer needs
  • Being the initial contact regarding customer technical queries
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders

They offer a range of products and applications to predominantly Oil & Gas customers, including refining and CSG. They have a nationally incorporated supply chain process. They are committed to developing new technologies, techniques and processes and they are at the forefront of these continuous improvement efforts. Their name is synonymous with quality and they have invested heavily in facilities and offices across the country. They have had impressive and sustained growth and it is due to this growth they are looking to add an experienced Sales Engineer to join their Brisbane based Sales team.


The Role

In this Brisbane based role you, as Sales Engineer, will report directly to the Regional Sales Manager. Your duties will include:

  • Account managing a book of business from a blend of existing and new customers in a defined area in South East and Central Queensland
  • Implementing sales strategies, based on customer needs
  • Being the initial contact regarding customer technical queries
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Managing the CRM reporting system

Your Profile

Ideally, you will be degree qualified in Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or have an equivalent Trade qualification. You will have technical experience with analysis and detection systems. You will have highly developed communication skills. The technical knowledge is more important as most relationships are established and you will be introduced to most of your contacts. You will be results driven and used to creating and implementing sales plans to reach sales targets. You will be used to working autonomously and light touch management.
