An exciting opportunity has been created to join an innovative and well established company which designs and manufactures market leading safety products. The role will focus on mentoring and managing a team of up to 8 customer service and sales support staff who are based in 3 offices across Australia, including Melbourne and two other interstate locations.

A proven track record of managing staff in other states is essential as is the ability to think laterally.

Responsibilities include:

  • Effectively manage a team of customer service officers in multiple locations
  • Provide accurate reporting, gather data and analyse results
  • Take accurate product orders over phone, processes orders before ship date, enter and edit orders in internal systems when workload or staffing levels require
  • Investigate and resolves customer complaints including pricing files
  • Meet the established KPI’s for customer orders and feedback
  • Represent department at various meetings
  • Minimum 3 years supervisory experience, preferably for customer service/ sales support role

Essential Skills:

  • Minimum 3 years supervisory experience, preferably for customer service/ sales support role
  • Exposure to hands on management of staff interstate
  • Must be energetic and possess a customer service oriented attitude
  • Computer proficiencies in business application software i.e., word processing, spread sheet and database.
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to interface effectively with management, technical, administrative and operational departments.
  • Proven time management and organisational skills with a proactive approach to prioritising workflow, meeting deadlines and resolving issues.
  • Must represent the business in a professional manner (i.e. Attire, appearance, conduct, etc.)
  • Commitment to excellent customer service and quality management.
  • Ability to work and have close interaction with Team Members in a positive and effective manner.
