Randstad Technologies are currently working with a well-known organisation in Brisbane to find a Senior Project Manager to join their team for an initial 3 month contract. This role is based in Brisbane’s CBD and is working on a large Microsoft Cloud Migration.

Responsibilities:

  • Be accountable to a Project Board for the successful delivery of projects using the Project Delivery Office’s Project Delivery Framework based on PRINCE2 and Agile.
  • Create, maintain and obtain approval for project scope, schedule, budget, resource plan, communications plan, and risks/issues log.
  • Manage day-to-day tasking and performance of a project delivery team comprising employees, contractors, professional service resources and vendors.
  • Maintain project information in a corporate project management system.
  • Provide regular project progress reports to project governance and ICT Management and prepare, review and present project reports, briefing notes, submissions, and other correspondence as required.
  • Deliver project outcomes via business-led decision-making workshops and options papers.
  • Coordinate ICT procurement activities in compliance with the organisations procurement policies.
  • Coordinate handover of project deliverables for ongoing support via a structured Support Transition Framework.

Necessary Requirements:

  • Demonstrated 5+ years’ experience in successful delivery of ICT projects using both PRINCE2 and Agile.
  • Demonstrated experience in successful delivery of cloud migration projects (Office 365; Microsoft Teams; and Skype for Business experience preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience delivering ICT projects involving significant organisation change.
  • Demonstrated experience managing project delivery teams comprising a mix of employees, contractors and vendors.
  • Demonstrated experience working in large, complex Government or private organisations.
  • Demonstrated excellent written, verbal and negotiation skills with the ability to comfortably engage with C-level executives.
  • Professional representation to internal and external stakeholders.
  • A hands-on project manager who will develop and manage detailed schedules and project management artefacts for all stages of the project lifecycle and actively engage and manage resources, suppliers and other stakeholders to ensure delivery.
