job description

The role:

In this role you will get the opportunity to work with across many government departments/agencies. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Develop guidelines and tools to support the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards
  • Research at a national level for developing and improving of electronic medication management (EMM)
  • Provide secretariat support for committees and expert groups, including preparation of agenda papers, minutes and other administrative tasks.
  • Prepare and coordinate reports as required
  • Stakeholder management within various federal departments
  • Interpret data and program guidelines ensuring they comply with contract framework

About you:

To be successful in this role you will require a strong understanding of medication safety standards and have had experience in similar role previously. Other criteria includes:

  • Experience in delivering medication safety projects/programs in acute or primary care settings
  • Clinical or clinical safety experience
  • Experience in writing for different audiences and in different formats
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
  • Experience with stakeholder engagement across the government and/or health sectors.
  • Exposure to Electronc Medical systems.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to multi task and prioritise
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft suite
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Great interpersonal skills, with the ability to work within a team environment or individually
